Payroll Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Team Leader to join our team at CE Back Office. As a Payroll Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll services for allocated outsourced clients, leading a small number of payroll administrators, and managing daily workload and plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver end-to-end payroll services for allocated clients
  • Lead a small team of payroll administrators
  • Manage daily workload and plans
  • Be the first point of contact for complex payroll topics
  • Report performance to the service delivery manager
  • Maintain client relationships for payroll services
Requirements:
  • Strong mathematics skills and ability to carry out manual payroll calculations
  • Ability to run manual payroll calculations, including tax, NIC, student loans, and pension deductions
  • Ability to process payroll from end to end, including year-end procedures
  • Ability to use Excel, including formulas, v-look-ups, and pivot tables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ideal candidate will hold a relevant payroll qualification
