Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Leadership Psychologist to join our team in Lincolnshire, working across substance use treatment and recovery services. This is an exciting opportunity for you to lead the psychology provision across the region, ensuring evidenced-based interventions are embedded throughout our services.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive 26 days' paid holiday per year, increasing with each year of service up to 28 days, plus Bank Holidays. You will also have the option to buy additional holidays and spread the cost.
Job Description
As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading the psychology provision across Lincolnshire, ensuring that evidenced-based interventions are embedded throughout our services. You will offer clinical guidance, training, and leadership across the partnership, using your skills to build on a range of innovative approaches with people who use substances.
- You will provide specialist psychological assessments and therapies to a small caseload of service users with complex needs.
- You will lead psychology input to local governance meeting structures, including clinical governance meetings, mortality and morbidity review processes, and multi-disciplinary complex case meetings.
- You will work collaboratively with partner agencies across Lincolnshire to improve referral pathways and joint delivery for service users experiencing both substance use and mental health issues.
- You will represent us on strategic partnership meetings across Lincolnshire.
- You will be invited to work with our national team of Clinical, Counselling, and Forensic Psychologists to develop psychological and psycho-social approaches used across services.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A doctorate in your professional specialism as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist.
- Proven ability to deliver psychological services, with excellent communication skills, adaptability, and commitment to the Recovery Agenda.
- Previous experience of supervising others in psychological roles would be desirable, as would formal training in supervision skills.
