Specialist Dietitian Position

A rare and exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Specialist Dietitian has arisen to work across Mental Health services in Lincolnshire within our friendly and dedicated Dietetic team.
The post holder will be professionally accountable for their own caseload and delivery of effective, high-quality specialist Dietetic support under the leadership of our Lead Dietitian.
This is an outstanding opportunity for career development, in an area of highly specialised clinical practice. Regular line management and clinical supervision will be offered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake comprehensive specialist assessment, treatment, and discharge of patients including those with diverse and complex presentations and multiple pathologies.
- Engage service users in treatment planning decisions, in line with their individual goals.
- Provide specialist advice, teaching, training, and instruction to patients, relatives, carers, and professionals, to promote understanding of the aims of treatment, and to ensure a consistent approach to patient care.
- Support the Lead Dietitian in monitoring and responding to waiting lists and manage workload.
- Provide management and clinical supervision for junior dietetic staff.
