Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to collaborate with our clients in transforming their organizations through the effective use of modern technology solutions. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand business needs, design and implement tailored technology solutions, and provide ongoing support and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales support and conduct technical discovery sessions with potential clients to understand their infrastructure and technology requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of proposed solutions, contributing to the development of proposals and solution designs.
  • Offer technical expertise during client meetings and calls, assisting in estimating project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.

Infrastructure Assessment and Design

  • Evaluate clients' existing IT infrastructure and cloud services, analysing data and diagnosing issues to identify weaknesses, inefficiencies, and risks.
  • Design hybrid cloud, virtualisation, and other infrastructure solutions to meet client needs, collaborating with relevant teams to plan and execute infrastructure projects.

Implementation and Delivery

  • Contribute to the implementation and configuration of Azure Cloud solutions, Microsoft 365, and VMware, providing technical guidance and support during the rollout of new technologies.
  • Train client staff on the use of new systems, processes, and IT tools, ensuring a smooth transition to new technologies.

Ongoing Support and Optimization

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support for complex infrastructure issues, maintaining and optimising storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Conduct regular system health checks and performance audits, updating documentation and procedures as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a Infrastructure IT or technology consulting role, with proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud services.
  • Experience with VMware vSphere and other virtualization technologies, strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, with experience in pre-sales activities and client-facing roles.
