GCSE Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced GCSE teacher to join our team at the National Skills Agency. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of our learners.

About the Role

This part-time position requires approximately 9.5 hours of commitment per week. As a GCSE teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tuition to learners, focusing on GCSE delivery and Functional Skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons, tailored to individual learner needs.
  • Develop and implement robust Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), ensuring learners achieve their academic goals.
  • Regularly assess and evaluate learner progress, reporting any concerns to management.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all assessment and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to health and safety legislation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold a Qualified Tutor qualification (at least Level 3).
  • Have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in GCSE/Functional Skills.
  • Possess a valid Teaching Qualification (at least Level 3).
  • Hold a current driving licence.
Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary, commensurate with experience. The estimated annual salary range for this position is £30,000 - £40,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
