About the Role
We Are With You is seeking a dedicated and empathetic professional to join our team as a Family Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of families affected by substance misuse.
Job Summary
The postholder will work as part of an integrated network of professionals, supporting parents to make positive changes in relation to substance misuse. As part of this role, you will be working in our new Family Safeguarding Model, providing support and advice to families and parents who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse.
Main Responsibilities
As a Family Worker, you will offer interventions to support parents with substance misuse issues, whilst working to raise awareness of and improve access to appropriate services, with a focus on using Motivational Interviewing techniques. You will provide ongoing support through 1:1 or group sessions, developing strong and positive relationships with clients and their families. You will also manage an active caseload and ensure continuity of care.

Requirements
We are looking for a professional with experience in health and social care, substance misuse, or family settings. You should have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. We also value experience in working with vulnerable populations and knowledge of substance misuse services.
