Experienced Children's Social Worker for Family and Friends Team

Randstad Care is seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join Wigan Council's Family and Friends Team as an Advanced Practitioner.
This is a full-time role offering a competitive pay rate of £40 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hold a caseload of approximately 8 Family and Friends Foster Carer households.
- Supervise 1 supervising social worker and 2 fostering support workers - providing monthly reflective and case management supervision and quality assurance of their work.
- Using Power BI to track data to ensure compliance of visits, annual reviews, etc.
- Undertake screenings requests for regulation 24 and viability assessments to make informed decisions whether a visit should progress.
- Support workers at relevant meetings and chair placement stability meetings when required.
- Support the team manager and cover their role when they are not in.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS
- Social Work England registered
- Social Work degree or equivalent
