About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Test and Inspect Engineer to join our team at Gov Facility Services Ltd. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical testing and inspection to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety requirements
  • Work on commercial or industrial electrical systems and catering equipment
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues to maintain a safe and secure environment for all
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Requirements
  • At least five years' experience working as an electrician
  • Two years' experience working in a role as a test and inspection electrician or equivalent
  • Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
  • Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
  • C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation)
  • C&G Electrical inspection and testing
  • NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
