Join Our Team as a Learning Support Assistant (SEN)

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant (SEN) at The King's School. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and wants to make a real difference in their lives.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students' learning, attending to pupils' personal needs, and enhancing the development and education of pupils. If you have experience of working with children or young people and are able to work effectively as part of a team, we would love to hear from you.

This is a permanent position, 30 hours per week, term time plus 2 days. We offer a competitive salary of £16,999.00 FTE per annum, generous employer pension, and excellent annual leave entitlements paid as part of your annual salary.

What We're Looking For

  • Level 2 Numeracy/Literacy Qualifications Grade 4/C or higher (or equivalent grades) - Essential.
  • 4 or more GCSE's at Grade C/4 or higher, including English and Maths (or equivalent grades/qualifications) - Desirable.
  • Understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection issues - Desirable.
