About the Role

We're looking for an exceptional Assistant Manager to join our team at Loungers. As a key member of our management team, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the high standards that make our Lounges so special.

As Assistant Manager, you'll support the General Manager in driving sales, team retention, and customer satisfaction. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing rotas, and ensuring that every customer leaves happy.

What You'll Do
  • Support the General Manager in maintaining high standards across the team
  • Drive sales and team retention through effective management and leadership
  • Manage rotas and team engagement to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements
  • Develop and implement sales and labour forecasts to optimize performance
  • Recruit and train new team members to ensure a high-performing team
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to inform business decisions

What We're Looking For
  • Experience as an Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, or Supervisor in a restaurant, bar, or coffee shop environment
  • Proven track record of driving sales and team retention
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with team members and customers
  • Strong knowledge of best practice in sales building, sales and labour forecasts, paperwork and reporting, recruitment and HR, and NPS
