Temporary Finance Officer Job Description

Reed Accountancy & Finance is seeking a skilled Temporary Finance Officer to support our esteemed client in Paddock Wood. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process invoices and expense claims with accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial records, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintain up-to-date financial information, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Handle queries related to accounts and financial transactions, providing excellent customer service
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required, contributing to a productive and efficient work environment
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar finance role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
