Cash Services is a vital enterprise-wide utility that provides financial integrity and efficiency through comprehensive payroll management, strategic cash flow optimization, and robust payment capabilities controls. As part of this team, Payment Controls Operations plays a crucial role in enabling a framework for movement of funds risk and portfolio governance oversight for Citigroup Global Markets Limited.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational risk policies, technology, and tools to create lasting solutions for movement of funds governance.
  • Drive re-engineering and productivity enhancements, develop new management routines, and design process or program management routines.
  • Design, drive, and perform in-depth strategic reviews of key issues and needs, and formulate recommendations for implementation.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and application of operational risk policies, technology, and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for deliverables on movement of funds governance.
  • Drive consistent process development and rollout of Business and functional area plans related to movement of funds.
  • Build and enhance a more robust risk management framework for movement of funds, or its related processes, working in coordination with support functions.
  • Define, manage, and report key business metrics gathering information from support areas and staff.
  • Act as an escalation point to communicate and escalate reviews, concerns, and breaches.
  • Research, document, and export best practices and common risk, controls, and corrective actions through Framework Papers.
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Significant relevant experience in Movement of Funds/ Payments Operational Risk.
  • Self-motivated and accountable individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and drive innovative solutions through practical outcomes.
  • Ability to be responsible for a strategy, process, or control portfolio.
  • Experience with stakeholder management or cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership, relationship management, and influence management skills.
