Custody Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Time Recovery Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals within court and custody settings who are facing challenges in their lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic support to individuals, including those with identified vulnerabilities, to help them access necessary services and resources.
- Work closely with families and friends to gain a comprehensive understanding of the individual's circumstances and provide individualized support to address practical problems or difficulties affecting their health and wellbeing.
- Act as an empathetic advocate for service users, promoting their rights and responsibilities while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Provide written and verbal information to the court in a timely manner to inform disposal.
- Build strong relationships with referring agencies within the custody suite, court, and probation, serving as a single point of contact for health-related matters.
- Work autonomously, organizing and managing your time effectively to meet delegated workload requirements.
- NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, with relevant health-related training to diploma level.
- Minimum of 12-18 months of relevant experience at band 2/3 level.
- Full driving license and car ownership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
- A competitive salary ranging from £23,949 to £26,282 per annum.
