About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals, delivering exceptional patient care. As a Senior Dental Officer, you will be responsible for leading clinical teams and ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of oral health care.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, be able to work collaboratively with colleagues, and have a strong understanding of infection control and decontamination procedures. You will also be required to supervise and instruct junior dentists and dental care professionals in their clinical duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide clinical special care dentistry to a wide range of individuals who meet the referral criteria for the Department of Community Special Care Dentistry;
  • To lead local teams and perform to the expected competency level of a Band B dentist;
  • To work in collaboration with the oral health promotion team when required and to advise educational, health and social care staff within the locality on Community Special Care Dentistry and oral health issues;

We offer a competitive salary of £78,573 - £91,903 per annum, plus London zone allowance of £2,162. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including access to our employee assistance programme and pension scheme.
