Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a skilled and compassionate dentist to join their Community Special Care Dental Service team. As a special care dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality oral health care to patients with special needs, including those requiring domiciliary dental services.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, experience in treating patients under general anesthesia or intravenous sedation, and registration on the specialist list for Special Care Dentistry or Paediatric Dentistry. They will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

This is a fulfilling role, offering the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients with complex oral health needs. The salary range is £78,573 - £91,903 per annum, plus London zone £2,162, depending on experience.

About the Team:

  • Work collaboratively with the oral health promotion team
  • Supervise and support junior dentists and dental care professionals
  • Contribute to the development of effective treatment plans
