Acute Consultant Psychiatrist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Acute Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at MSI Group. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide medical leadership and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safe assessment, treatment, and discharge of patients
  • Manage medication and lead quality assurance initiatives
  • Deliver NICE guidance and lead the CPA and ICR process
Requirements:
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Full GMC registration with license to practice
  • MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • Section 12(2) approval and Approved clinician status
