We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in Jade Ward, Crawley. The successful candidate will provide excellent care to patients admitted to the ward and work with other acute in-patient services in Langley Green and local community teams.

The role offers a unique opportunity to develop research, development, medical education, or special interests within a supportive and friendly team. On appointment, you will have access to the Trust-wide consultant network and peer support from colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the specialty and be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills. A qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management would be advantageous.

Main Duties:

  • Work with the multidisciplinary team to provide excellent care to patients
  • Collaborate with other acute in-patient services and local community teams
  • Develop research, development, medical education, or special interests

Person Specification:

  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months
  • Approved clinician status or able to achieve within three months of appointment
  • Excellent knowledge in specialty
  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
