Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Key Stage 2 Teaching Associate.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive primary school in Barnet, supporting students in Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11).

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons to students in Key Stage 2.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
  • A strong passion for education and working with children.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • A positive and proactive approach to work.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • A relevant teaching assistant qualification.
  • A clear DBS check.
