Freelance Interpreters Required for Public and Private Sector Assignments

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Czech Slovak interpreters to join our team of freelance language specialists. Based in the UK, we work with various public and private sector clients, including the NHS and local authorities, providing professional translation and interpreting services. As a freelancer, you will have the flexibility to choose when and how much you work, while still benefiting from ongoing support and training.
Job Description- Interpret for individuals using legal, health, and local government services
- Ensure understanding after each sentence by checking non-English speakers' comprehension
- Conduct conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Liaise between service users and providers
The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Czech/Slovak, with relevant qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages. You must also have the right to work in the UK and be at least 21 years old.
