Higher Level Teaching Assistant Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students in a primary school setting.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have a Level 3 childcare qualification or higher and at least 6 weeks of experience in schools. Safeguarding training is preferred but not required as some training is provided. The ideal candidate will have confidence in leading a key group of children through their key stage 2 development.
Responsibilities:- Support the teacher in planning, preparing and delivering lessons to students in upper KS2.
- Assist with the management of student behavior and provide guidance to students as needed.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to achieve educational goals.
- Level 3 TA qualification or higher/equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a UK school.
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable).
- Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behavior management.
- In-house Training and Development Team.
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
