Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 childcare qualification or higher and at least 6 weeks of experience in schools. You will be responsible for leading a key group of children through their key stage 2 development, providing guidance and support to ensure their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to students in upper KS2
  • Lead a key group of children through their key stage 2 development, providing guidance and support
  • Assist with the assessment and recording of student progress
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and motivation
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
Requirements:
  • Level 3 childcare qualification or higher
  • At least 6 weeks of experience in schools
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable but not essential)
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Two professional child-related references
