Teaching Assistant Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a local primary school in Wantage. The ideal candidate will possess strong numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills, with a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a Year 4 student in a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 03:30pm.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, as well as marking and feedback.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
