Education Support Specialist

About the Role
The Cover Supervisor will be responsible for covering timetabled classes and general absence, delivering high-quality lessons, and managing challenging behavior in the classroom. They will ensure students are focused and on track to meet lesson objectives, prepare the classroom for lessons, and provide support to students struggling with cover lesson material.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out duties of a school teacher as outlined in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document and general class teacher duties as detailed in the school's job description. They will also be responsible for teaching in a SEMH setting.
