About the Role:


The University of Cambridge is seeking an experienced Financial Governance Specialist to join our Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Head of Finance, Finance Lead, and stakeholders across the university to develop and implement financial strategy, manage finances, and provide high-level financial reporting and advice.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement financial strategy in line with the university's strategic priorities
  • Provide high-level financial reporting and advice to aid planning, implementation, and management of CUL finances
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance, Finance Lead, and stakeholders to ensure effective financial governance
  • Collaborate with the CUL Finance Team to innovate and improve financial processes
