**The Role

At Optima UK Inc Ltd, we are currently seeking a skilled Multifaceted Equipment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment within the plant.

**Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out fault finding, planned and preventative maintenance on equipment to maximise reliability and continuity of performance.
  • Respond to customer requirements and maximise efficiency in regards to production time.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, as well as food standards, and work safely at all times.
  • Work towards continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and promoting health and safety.
  • Complete accurate documentation to ensure it is audit ready.
  • Maintain a variety of manufacturing and production machinery.

**Requirements

  • Experience within a manufacturing/FMCG environment as an Engineer.
  • Experience with both electrical and mechanical systems is essential.
  • Experience with PLC fault finding.
  • Ideal NVQ Level 3 in Engineering.
  • Desirable: 18th edition and IOSH.
