We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead our team at The Dog & Fox, a renowned pub and hotel in Wimbledon Village. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing staff, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Your Role:

As our new Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business forward, ensuring seamless operations, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with our General Manager to develop and implement strategies that enhance our offerings, improve efficiency, and foster a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and financial management.
  • Lead by example, promoting excellent customer service, teamwork, and adaptability among your colleagues.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, enhancing our brand presence and attracting new customers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs, ensuring our staff have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to optimize results.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in hospitality management, preferably in a similar environment.

  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and systems, including point-of-sale and inventory management tools.
