Operations Director
About the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Director to lead our client's strategic development and logistical activities relating to production in Essex.
Key Responsibilities:- Devising ways to increase efficiencies in all areas and identifying ways to implement and support continuous improvement.
- Develop and oversee the operational budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
- Control expenditure and overhead to hit financial targets.
- Supervise the Production and Technical team to achieve operational KPIs.
- Ensure BRC and Food Safety requirements are achieved to maintain compliance.
- Work to improve standards to accommodate new retail customers.
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met at all times.
- Prior experience in Senior Management/Operations role within food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and regulatory standards.
- Proven experience in production planning, budget management, Health & Safety processes, and team development.
- Experience with/nurturing a positive cultural environment.
An attractive salary from £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
