Mental Health Support Worker

Salary: £12.72 per hour (Depending on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at GSL Education in Havant. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

In this rewarding position, you will work closely with students to help them build the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. Your enthusiasm and compassion will inspire students to overcome challenges and make progress in their academic and personal development.

About the Role:

  • You will provide individualized support to students with SEMH needs, helping them manage their emotions and improve social skills.
  • You will work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to develop tailored support plans for students.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as CACHE Level 2/3, are desirable but not essential.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
