Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intervention Teacher to join our team at a special needs school in Farnham. As an Intervention Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
About the School:The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment for students aged 9-16 who have a range of learning and behavioural needs. Our students require additional support to develop their social skills, manage anxiety, and build healthy relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver intervention lessons to bridge gaps in learning and build confidence and self-esteem in students.
- Teach a range of subjects, including maths and English, to students with varying abilities.
- Manage student behaviour and support their learning and participation in class.
- Encourage the development of social skills and support students' individual needs.
- Participate in team meetings and training programmes to ensure effective collaboration and professional development.
- Maintain accurate progress records and adhere to safeguarding regulations.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with students with SEMH needs.
- Ability to work with students across KS3 and KS4 year groups.
- Flexibility in terms of working patterns and a willingness to adapt to the needs of the school.
- A competitive daily rate of £130-£190.
- Full-time and part-time roles available, with flexible working hours and short and long-term contracts.
