Child Psychology Assistant

Join our team at The Nook Therapy Clinic as an Assistant Psychologist, working closely with Clinical Psychologists to deliver psychological services to children and their families.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of psychological services, including assessment and intervention under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist.
- Conduct parent Autism and ADI-R interviews, and administer Autism and ADHD screening tools.
- Support the service in delivering training initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical practice.
- Utilize research skills for audit, literature reviews, service development, and other research initiatives.
Requirements:
- An Honours Degree in Psychology, recognized for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
- Graduate level training, including knowledge and experience of research and research methodology.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to plan and organize work independently.
- A high degree of emotional effort is required in dealing with clients who are upset or overwhelmed.
