Job Title: Stakeholder Engagement Specialist (Projects)

Job Summary

The BBC is seeking a skilled Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to join our Property Project Management team. In this role, you will lead stakeholder engagement activities across multiple facilities management, property, and construction projects within our extensive UK property estate. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring effective communication, managing stakeholder expectations, and facilitating smooth project progression through expert stakeholder management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive engagement plans, creating stakeholder maps and influence networks to guide our strategies.
  • Design and execute engagement initiatives to keep all parties informed about project progress, changes, and impacts.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and focus groups, and prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations to various stakeholder groups.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the project team and stakeholders, managing expectations, resolving conflicts, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Provide strategic input to integrate stakeholder engagement into overall project plans and identify potential risks.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrable experience working on property projects.
  • Background in stakeholder management, preferably in facilities management, property, or construction sectors.
  • Proficiency in stakeholder mapping and analysis techniques, and familiarity with the UK property market, facilities management practices, and construction processes.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is also required.
