**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated teaching assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in our secondary schools in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will have experience working with students who require additional support and will be able to provide tailored assistance to help them engage with the curriculum.

The Role:

As a secondary SEMH teaching assistant, you will work closely with students who experience a range of social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored assistance to help students engage with the curriculum and develop coping strategies for emotional challenges.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role, particularly in secondary education.
  • Experience with behaviour management techniques is desirable, though Team Teach training will be provided if necessary.
