Responsibilities:

  1. Review and update Terms and Conditions regularly to meet legal and commercial requirements.
  2. Manage and analyze project contract information to minimize risk and ensure subcontractor terms align with head terms.
  3. Provide key financial information to the Finance function, including supplier costs, client recovery, and project milestone payments.
  4. Prepare commercial reports, such as monthly cost value reconciliations, project forecasting, short-term cash flow analysis, and budget management.
  5. Assist in setting financial targets and maximizing contract potential.
  6. Draft and advise on contract terms during negotiations and through to contract execution.
  7. Prepare and execute subcontract terms, managing subcontractors across the business.
  8. Collaborate with commercial, operations, design, and supplier teams to ensure smooth project execution and develop business understanding of contract obligations and commercial aspects.
  9. Review and formalize contractual requirements by submitting necessary notices, including Early Warnings, Compensation Events/Variations, and Extensions of Time.
  10. Manage and report on subcontractor performance.
  11. Knowledgeable in MF1, JCT, and bespoke contract drafting.
  12. Strong understanding of financials, including cash flow and monitoring planned vs actual projections.
  13. Experienced in commercial management within integrated, multi-organization, collaborative project teams.
  14. Skilled in project controls processes and commercial delivery.
  15. Strong report writing and presentation skills.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000+ Pension + Hybrid
