Content Marketing Specialist

Marlborough Highways is seeking a highly skilled Content and Community Marketing Executive to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing content marketing strategies to engage our audience and promote our brand.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain our internal and external content calendar, ensuring timely updates and consistent messaging across all channels.
- Produce high-quality client reports, showcasing our activities and achievements in a professional manner.
- Coordinate award submissions, managing deadlines and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful entries.
- Develop and produce case studies, highlighting successful projects and showcasing our expertise.
- Contribute to the marketing team's monthly report, tracking the performance of content and campaigns, and providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in ad hoc public-facing events, such as community and school events, to promote our brand and engage with our audience.
- Plan and execute joint marketing and communication campaigns, working closely with clients, suppliers, and charity partners.
- Write and distribute press releases to share company news and significant achievements, targeting relevant audiences.
- Lead the content development and production of our bi-annual external magazine and monthly e-newsletters, collaborating with team members to generate ideas and oversee the design and distribution process.
- Regularly update our company website with news stories, contract awards, case studies, and other relevant content, ensuring it remains up-to-date and reflective of our activities and achievements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling content for various audiences and platforms.
- Proven experience in content creation and management, including websites, newsletters, and press releases.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working to deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
- Digital literacy, with proficiency in content management systems, email marketing tools, basic website management, and social media platforms.
- Adaptability and flexibility, with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to support ad hoc activities.
- Experience in PR and media relations, including drafting press releases and working with media outlets.
- Experience with award submissions, including preparing entries and managing deadlines.
- Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
Relevant certifications in content marketing, digital marketing, or communications are desirable but not essential.
