Specialist Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN-TA) to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with non-verbal students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing 1:1 support and helping them engage with the curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with ASD, particularly non-verbal students, in a school setting. They will be patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs are desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to non-verbal students with ASD.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
We offer a competitive daily rate of £85-£100 per day, making this an attractive opportunity for those looking to make a real difference in the lives of children.
