Job Title: Risk Management Specialist
Location: Remote or Hybrid. We offer a range of flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Circa £63,000 + car allowance depending on skills and experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing tailored Project Management practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Providing technical direction and guidance to team members, monitoring their quality of work and contributing to performance management.
- Coaching team members, analyzing project management data, and summarizing information for strategic and tactical reporting.
- Managing documentation to ensure quality for audit actions and maintaining governance and control processes.
- Ensuring sufficient timescales are in place for review and maintaining the reporting structure.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Experienced professional with extensive knowledge of Project Management tools, techniques, and practices, as well as basic knowledge of other functions such as Commercial & Finance.
- Ability to resolve complex project-related issues and guide others in solving them.
- Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to persuade and influence internal & external stakeholders.
- Ability to make decisions and problem-solve guided by policies, procedures, and business plans.
- Ability to analyze project management data and summarize information for reporting output at a strategic and tactical level.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Applied Risk Management (ARM) database.

About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to join the BAE Systems' Risk Management team. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing risks and opportunities, as well as their impact on schedule and cost, for the design and delivery of the Dreadnought Programme's boats. You will work closely with the team to develop and implement tailored Project Management practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
