Job Title: Store Manager

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 DOE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Glasgow Children's Hospital Trading Ltd. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our shop, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the shop's inventory, including receiving, storing, and stocking merchandise.
  • Supervise and train shop volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and drive business growth.
  • Manage the online pre-loved shop on Vinted, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurately reflects our shop's inventory.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a charity or non-profit organization.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
