Job Summary

We are seeking a Corporate Events Manager UK to join our team at Ampleforth College, a world-renowned Catholic boarding school located in North Yorkshire. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for managing and evolving the College's student recruitment and event programmes.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse groups of people. They will also possess strong organisational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple events concurrently, and flexibility with working hours and days to accommodate event schedules.

The salary range for this position is £30-38K per annum, depending on experience. This position offers a range of benefits, including annual closed periods, a choice of hot and cold lunches, and discounted on-site gym membership.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Planning, promotion, and execution of recruitment events both on-site and throughout the UK and overseas.
  • Working closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure all events are fully advertised and marketed.
  • Representing the College at events and acting as an ambassador for the institution.
  • Collaborating with other departments to create an active calendar of events.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple events concurrently.
  • Flexibility with working hours and days to accommodate event schedules.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, with own transport.
