About the Centre Manager Role

The Centre Manager will have a key role in administering the postgraduate research and training aspects of the programme. This includes the development and delivery of a doctoral training offer in antimicrobial resistance, co-designed with project partners. The postholder will ensure effective procedures are developed, adopted, and documented for dealing with enquiries, applications, admissions, and progression.

The Centre Manager will also be responsible for managing two further posts: a Centre Administrator and a Centre Partnerships Manager. Furthermore, the postholder will represent the Centre at national meetings and networks.

The role requires efficient administration for all matters relating to research, teaching, and learning activities of students from enquiry to completion. The postholder must be organised and take great care in attention to detail.

Interaction with many people within and external to UCL is essential for this role. Experience of basic financial management and excellent numeracy skills with the ability to present and interpret statistics are required.
