We are seeking an experienced Education and Training Manager to lead our academic team at Twin Employment & Training Ltd. in London.
About the Role:This is a full-time, permanent position responsible for managing the overall student experience and administration of our English language programmes and International Foundation Year (IFY) programme.
The successful candidate will report to the International Director, Sales & Operations and the Academic Director, working closely with the Head of Operations to ensure the smooth operation of our centre.
You will be responsible for managing a team of staff who oversee the day-to-day activities of the centre, from planning and preparation to programme delivery and customer service evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the inspection process for British Council, ISI, and NCUK regulatory bodies.
- Deliver year-round and summer centre delivery plans.
- Recruit, induce, train, and manage centre staff.
- Liaise with operations and accommodation teams to process bookings efficiently.
- Ensure timely processing of purchase orders and financial reports.
- Set up and decommission designated summer centres.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Provide out-of-office emergency cover.
- Coordinate EFL non-teaching staff, including administration and student services.
- Work with the Director of Studies on classroom space, teacher numbers, and academic supplies.
- Monitor complaints, follow up actions, and keep management updated on issues.
- Develop and implement IFY operations procedures.
- Oversee high-quality IFY teaching programme delivery.
- Coordinate IFY academic calendar and assessment dates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IFY student records.
- Meet regularly with IFY Academic management to review programme and student progression.
- Academic qualification at post-graduate level or relevant professional qualifications.
- Education management experience, preferably five years.
- Understanding of UK/Western higher education and international student needs.
- Direct experience in higher education in an international context.
- Experience of International Foundation Qualifications.
- Relevant teaching experience, preferably five years.
- Awareness of academic assessment and quality assurance procedures.
- Business management experience and track record in achieving key performance targets.
- Experience working with other departments to achieve company and personal goals.
The salary for this role is £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus opportunities.
