Project Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Operations Centre of Excellence.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our five-year strategic vision for Operations and transforming the operational capability across the bank.

You will be responsible for leading a work initiative, preparing, managing, and providing reporting on all project plans, controls, and resource plans.

Additionally, you will build and maintain positive working relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple franchises, domains, and functions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Empowering and leading a team through the project lifecycle.
  • Identifying, tracking, managing, and mitigating project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies.
  • Leading and defining project documentation to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Tracking and reporting project costs and ensuring completion within budget.
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet requirements and adhere to governance frameworks.
  • Shaping business cases and securing funding via investment processes.
  • Addressing policy and control shortfalls and implementing strategic solutions.

Requirements include:

  • Project management qualification and experience in change management.
  • Experience delivering change within a banking Operations team, driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Agile processes and ceremonies, as well as familiarity with Model Risk governance.
  • Experience driving large-scale automation or AI and analyzing data to support problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to produce executive-level presentations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, engaging with multiple stakeholders at senior level.
  • Critical thinking skills to cut through complexity and make sound decisions.
