Teaching Assistant for SEN Role

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join our team at an 'Outstanding' Primary School in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs and assisting class teachers with delivering core subject material.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to pursue a career in education or related fields. The ideal candidate will have strong academics, excellent communication skills, and previous experience working with children with SEN.

Role Description:
  • Supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs in a Primary School environment
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils of various ages and abilities
  • Assisting class teachers with delivering core subject material

Estimated Annual Salary: £21,300 - £26,700

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • A graduate with strong academics across the board - GCSEs, A-Levels and Degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous school-based experience working with children with SEN
