With a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per year, you will be responsible for shaping the future of healthcare education and practice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing evidence-based programmes for RNs, RNAs, and NAs to meet clinical needs.
  • Supporting clinical skills training and competency assessments for staff.
  • Facilitating development programs for nursing assistants and induction programs for RNs/RNAs.
  • Promoting and delivering Preceptorship programs for new staff.
  • Supporting clinical mentors and preparing nurses for OSCEs and other assessments.
  • Building links with Higher Education Institutes for placements.
  • Participating in social care research and communities of practice to stay up-to-date with best practice.
  • Conducting training needs analysis and support workforce development for the team.
  • Reviewing and updating competency policies and training programs to ensure they remain effective.
  • Providing clinical supervision and acting as a resource for restorative practice plans.
  • Promoting safeguarding practices and ensuring proper escalation of concerns for the residents.
  • Maintaining professional standards and collaborating with NHS Practice Education teams to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Promoting equality and diversity in education to ensure all staff have equal opportunities.
  • Sharing new initiatives and career development opportunities with the team.
  • Evaluating clinical learning programs and maintaining training records to ensure they remain effective.

This is a regional role with travel across the Midlands, requiring a driving license.

To be successful, you will need a Registered Nurse qualification with an active PIN and a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience.

You should be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience in a Health & Social Care environment.

A strong passion for developing others and identifying development needs through themes and trend analysis is essential.
