Project Engineer for Municipal Infrastructure

D.M. Wills Associates Limited is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Municipal Infrastructure Engineering Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering municipal infrastructure projects, including asset management studies, road and utility renewals, stormwater management, and intersection design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and resolve complex engineering design issues to meet client needs while adhering to policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Complete preliminary and detailed design calculations to support engineering recommendations.
  • Prepare project estimates, budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
  • Develop technical documentation, including letters, reports, drawings, specifications, and construction contract documents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of principles and practices of proposal submissions, project delivery, and contract administration.
  • Comprehensive understanding of engineering theory, concepts, and regulations related to municipal infrastructure.
  • Excellent budget development and financial management skills within the consulting industry.
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act and its application to supervision of staff and field work.
