We are recruiting a Compassionate Homecare Worker to join our team at Enviva Complex Care. As a member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support services to clients who require ongoing assistance due to spinal injuries. Your primary goal will be to help them achieve their maximum potential and improve their overall quality of life.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support services to clients in their own homes. This will involve engaging with personalized routines, completing daily living activities, administering medication, and monitoring health conditions. Additionally, you will provide emotional support and companionship to alleviate anxiety and stress related to their condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and support services, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions to prevent complications and maintain client safety.
- Engage with personalized routines to promote client independence and confidence.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to alleviate anxiety and stress related to their condition.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to relevant healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care, is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to build trust and rapport with clients and their families.
- A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature is crucial in providing emotional support and understanding to clients.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team is necessary to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Flexibility to work bank hours, including night shifts, is required to accommodate client needs.
- A valid UK driver's license is mandatory for travel to client locations.
