SEN Department Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our Special Education Needs (SEN) department. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with subject teachers to ensure students' progress in individual subjects
- Act as a positive role model both socially and academically
- Help to foster and develop positive relationships with staff and peers
- Be flexible to meet the dynamic needs of the SEN department on a daily basis
- Identify personal training needs and attend appropriate internal and external training
- Be involved in maintaining records, undertaking assessment and evaluating identified students' needs
- Ensure inclusive practice and equality of opportunity for all
