We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students' development in Key Stage 2 (KS2). This role will involve working closely with teachers to support classroom activities, assist individual students or small groups, and create a positive, engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom activities.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and provide targeted support.
  • Help prepare resources and materials for lessons, ensuring all students have what they need.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback to teachers to support planning and assessment.
  • Encourage positive behavior and social interactions among students.
  • Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a primary school setting is desirable.
  • A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent communication skills, patience, and a positive, proactive approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build rapport with students.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are an advantage.
