SEN Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher Assistant to join our team at a special needs school in South East London. This is a full-time position that will start in November.
About the RoleAs a SEN Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support students with autism and other special educational needs. Your main responsibility will be to assist these students in their learning and development.
Responsibilities- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
- Understand how autism can impact learning and access to education.
The school is located near a train station, making it easily accessible by public transport.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have a passion for working with children with special educational needs. You should be able to provide individualised support and create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is £25,000-£30,000 per year, depending on experience. The school offers a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive team environment.
