Job Title: SEN Teaching and Learning Assistant

About the Position:
  • Support students with autism, learning disabilities, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and other varying SEN needs
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored lessons and ensure student engagement
  • Contribute to creating a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Assist with personal care and physical needs as required
  • Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers and senior staff
  • Foster independence, social skills, and positive behaviour in students
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or adults with SEN (desirable but not essential)
  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient nature
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs
