About the Role

Glasgow Caledonian University is seeking highly qualified and experienced academics to join our Department of Computing as Lecturers in Computing. We are looking for individuals who can contribute to our teaching and research activities, with a focus on Software Development, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Data Engineering, Internet of Things, and Secure Software Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop technical modules in Computing and Software Engineering at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
  • Contribute to research and knowledge exchange activities in the Department of Computing
  • Play a leadership role in the School of Computing, Engineering and Built Environment
  • Develop and deliver innovative learning and teaching approaches
Requirements
  • PhD or relevant Masters qualification with significant industry experience
  • Membership of a relevant professional body
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
